Project Reveal: Custom Drapery Transformation in Richfield, Ohio

Upon entering this gorgeous custom home, I knew it presented a delightful challenge: to create window treatments as bespoke and unique as the home itself. Our client sought a fun and feminine window treatment that would add personality and elegance to her home.

Our Precise Process

With an expansive 206-inch curved wall of windows, detailed custom work, and limited space for drapery brackets, I knew I needed to rely on the expertise of Helser Brothers drapery hardware. We worked closely to measure all the woodwork for accurate deductions and to template the curved wall.  Our precise measurements, pictures, and experience of my assistants and the installer all played a crucial role in this project.

Tailored Elegance in Every Detail 

From the moment I started the template to placing a hook on the last ring, I could feel the inspiration coming alive. Detailed measurements assured me that the trim and flared skirt would be perfectly seamed to the architecture of the window sill, avoiding any additional sight lines. The draperies integrated seamlessly with the room's color palette and textures, providing visual continuity and a sense of sophistication.

Bringing Our Client’s Vision to Life 

Our project was both playful and detailed, perfectly aligning with our client's vision. I love the exquisite craftsmanship and artistry we work with daily. Our client was pleased with her project–she said, “Nobody else designed anything quite like what we did." 

Now, when I walk into my client's office, my eyes travel from the textured wool carpeting up the draperies to an expansive custom drapery rod–a gorgeous centerpiece of art.
